What's New? Ugne completed undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Simons College and a graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner’s from the MGH Institute for Health Professions.

Ugne grew up in the seaport of Lithuania, Klaipeda, where folk medicine is still very much alive. Healing is a family tradition for Ugne, where she learned about medicinal herbs from her grandparents and experienced her father’s healing hands with sore bellies and other ailments. Ugne herself loved helping her friends with their muscle cramps during sports, intuitively knowing how to relieve their pain.

At the age of twenty, Ugne came to the United States and accepted an opportunity to study at Boulder College of Massage Therapy, where she achieved national certification from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB)  Her journey had only just begun…

Influenced by her mentors Michael Young, Suzan Fleck and Beck Stephens, she actively began studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, earning an advanced certification from The American Organization of Body Therapies of Asia (AOBTA).

So, in typical Ugne fashion, she went on to pursue a degree in Biochemistry to further her understanding, on a cellular level, the mechanisms by which environmental factors influence human health.
